Specializing in Weddings,
Special Events, Portraits and On-Location Photography, Brian J. Cummings
is one of Orange County’s premier photojournalists. Brian holds a degree
in Photo Communications, and for seven years has taught
“Everyday Photography,” a class he created for the Capistrano
Unified School District’s adult education program.
A Visual Journalist, Brian’s body of work includes documenting the
opening of the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, Calif., the building of
SOKA’s newest four-year Liberal Arts university in Aliso Viejo,
Calif., and the final five years of corporate development in Aliso
Viejo, Calif.

Brian’s
list of honors includes winning several first-place awards in
on-the-spot statewide journalism competitions, publication in a
coffee-table book produced by camera giant Nikon Inc., and scores of
photography assignments for the The Orange County Register, Associated
Press, The San Clemente Daily Sun-Post and Pacific News and Review. He
has also served as a mentor in the areas of style and content
development for several of Orange County’s finest photographers and
videographers.
Working for more than 25 years as a professional photographer has allowed
Brian to hone his unique and non-obtrusive style. A longtime Orange
County, Calif., resident, he lives with his wife, Michelle, and their
son,
Dyllan, in Aliso Viejo, Calif.
